Orchards

Stanislaus county in the Central Valley is covered with large swaths of orchards.  A great amount of the acreage supports peaches and nectarines producing magenta blooms in the spring and yellow-orange foliage in the fall.  Even larger acreage of almonds show expanses of trees covered with pink and white springtime blossoms.  Over several years I photographed there seasonally to find images conveying the beautiful colors and geometry of the orchards.
