Corrosion

This collection of images began with my curious examination of corrosion that can be found on steel and iron surfaces in locations both far and near in the world.  The artistic arrangements were formed from random elements of exfoliating metal accentuated by rivets, bolt heads and welding patterns.  The color palette was supplied by many complex phases of iron oxide as well as accents of well aged paint.
